OLI Shares New Single ‘What Happened To You’
London-based singer and songwriter OLI has just shared her brand new single What Happened To You, a powerful, synth-scaping piece of music.

I am really enjoying OLI's emotive pop vocals and how they soar effortlessly over the captivating electro-pop production packed with pounding bass tones and soundscaping layers of synths. What Happened To You is a song about the end of a friendship and how being betrayed by a friend can hurt much deeper. I am also very fond of the melancholic tones in the song and how the hard-hitting chorus easily gets one hooked to it.

Accompanying the song, OLI shared its official music video which was directed by Heini Susanne. Check it out below




Speaking of the new single, OLI said:
I really wanted to do a song about a friend and not a partner. I just feel like betrayal can be so much deeper with a friend and really shatter you. Sadly, I think a lot of people have been through this and you really do find yourself asking what happened to you?? Maybe you won’t cry yourself to sleep every night but It’s a different kind of sadness.
