Tired Runner Share New Single ‘Port Song’

British band Tired Runner make their musical introduction with the release of their gorgeous debut single Port Song, a moving piece of alternative music that reminds me of a mix between Bon Iver, Olafur Arnalds with hints of Hurts.

I am loving the song's epic and cinematic atmosphere which is beautifully enhanced by Dee's passionate vocal delivery. I am really enjoying how Dee's vocals are packed with so much raw emotion and how the song can be interpreted in many ways by the listener, making it quite a memorable listening experience. It's that lament and touches of melancholia that drew me towards this song and the instrumentation is flawless. Loving the lush strings and how the whole production creates a warm and intimate atmosphere for those powerful vocals to soar. Port Song is quite an impressive debut for the band, making me extremely excited to hear more from them.
