Local Nomad Shares New Single ‘Summertime’
American singer and songwriter Local Nomad has just released his self-titled EP which includes the gorgeous single Summertime.

I am loving the song's energy and touches of nostalgia and I think you guys will enjoy it too. Summertime is a song inspired by Local Nomad's childhood, a personal story of finding out he had a tumour while playing baseball as a kid, seeing positivity despite challenges, and appreciating a simpler time.

This story is beautifully backed by an infectious indie/electro-pop production with dreamy vintage synths, illustrious drum beats and an enthusiastic mellotron that create memorable melodies with a retro vibe. I am loving his smooth and dreamy vocals and how they soar perfectly over the bright melodies and gorgeous guitars. This is one of those songs that instantly gets me in a good mood and that chorus is highly addictive, perfect to sing along to. Have a listen to this gem below!

Speaking about the song, Local Nomad said,
Growing up, baseball was a huge part of my childhood and it actually saved my life. If it wasn’t for baseball, I probably wouldn’t have discovered that I had a tumor, which could have potentially left me paralyzed. Despite the challenges I faced as a kid with my surgery, these were the golden years. I’ll always remember how easy life was, even when things were not the greatest. I’ll always remember summertime and what it meant to me growing up.
