British folk singer and songwriter Katherine Abbott has just shared her brand new single Wayward, out now via Ray Dawg Records.

Katherine draws influences from artists such as Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and Bon Iver which is visible via her poetic and thought-provoking lyrical content and a haunting, soulful and soaring vocal delivery. I am loving Katherine's vocals and how they easily convey the emotion of her lovely storytelling. The minimal production, with smooth percussion and lush acoustic guitar melodies, creates quite an intimate and warm atmosphere that allows for the listener to truly focus and connect with both Katherine Abbott's lush vocals and storytelling.
