Dust In The Sunlight Share New Single ‘Winter Monday’
British duo Dust In The Sunlight (consisting of Billy Wright and Annie Rew Shaw) released yesterday, June 5th through Project Melody, their debut eponymous EP, and one of my favourite tracks off of this project is the lovely song Winder Monday.

Winter Monday is an intimate piece of folk-tinged indie-pop music with intricate acoustic guitar plucks beautifully intertwined with emotive piano keys. I adore how Billy and Annie's vocals fit perfectly together and their stunning harmonies give the song a dreamy and soothing atmosphere. I am also enjoying how they added the sounds of some birds chirping, enhancing the song's chilled out and dreamy vibe with just the right amount of melancholia. Check it out below!

With their soaring duel vocals marking this new collection with a bold and uplifting aesthetic, their light yet impactful production and narrative, image-evoking writing gives this release a warm and inviting feel, capturing the magical quality that they bring to everything they create.

Speaking about the new EP, they added,
These four songs represent the first leg of our journey together. We’ve come from meeting at Get Cape Wear Cape Fly’s recording session to traveling from Southend to London to write songs together, arranging and recording them with our producer Aviv, signing with Project Melody, and now we’re here. It’s been quite a ride! We want these songs to tell a story, and for anyone who listens to them to be able to connect with that. Whether you’re imagining driving home late at night under the cover of streetlights or wandering through the streets of your old home town - they exist to take you somewhere. We’re so happy to finally share them with the world and can’t wait for what’s yet to come.
