Canadian collective Busty and the Bass are back with an awesome new single titled Out of Love, featuring the legendary Macy Gray. I am loving the funky, feel-good vibe of the song and I think you guys will love it too.
Out Of Love incorporates a swell of glistening funk and neo-soul that beautifully back Nick Ferraro's smooth vocals and Macy Gray's distinctive and effortless vocal delivery. The song instantly got me in a good mood and I am also loving the cool guitars and groovy horns that create quite an uplifting, feel-good atmosphere perfect for the summer. Speaking about the song, Busty's Nick Ferraro said,
'Out of Love' started as a remix that Chris, our trombone player, was working on. It was never supposed to be an original tune but the song’s vocal idea quickly took form and became its own thing. It’s sometimes a treat writing vocals after most of the beat is made, you can really feel the energy and play with the instrumental. I was getting a lot of hot and cold communication from someone and this song is me airing out a bit of that frustration.
