Birmingham-bases duo Bad Money, consisting of Ben Williams and Jacob Jenkins, have just shared their brand new single Ashes, a catchy piece of indie-pop music about the mental struggles everyone faces nowadays.

I am really enjoying those warm smooth vocals and how they flow over the infectious production packed with groovy guitar riffs, subtle touches of emotive piano chords and energetic bouncy beat. The lyrics are born from a dark place that many of us can relate to and I enjoyed how the upbeat production contrasts this dark experience, giving a touch of positivity that everything is ok.
