Vinny Lunar Shares New Single ‘Cut Loose’
Australian singer and songwriter Vinny Lunar has just shared his brand new single Cut Loose, a dark Hip-Hop/R&B-infused piece of electronica music.
Produced by Los Angeles based Hip-Hop producer, Konstantin Ladurner (Kontent), Cut Loose is a reflective song about the ups and downs in Vinny's life as he dealt with growing pains, anxiety and depression in the dark Berlin winters. I am really enjoying his smooth vocals and how the song beautifully blends elements of pop, with trip-hop, R&B and electronica. I am particularly fond of the acoustic guitar riffs throughout the song that enhance the emotion of his beautiful lyrics. I am also enjoying how the hard-hitting modern beat blends with the cascading synths and filtered guitar to provide an open canvas for emotion. I also like how Vinny's lyrics are not the typical R&B/Hip-Hop themes of chasing cars, girls and gold, but honest and relatable stories about life's challenges and struggles.
