DAGNY Shares New Single ‘Somebody’
Following the release of her upbeat single Come Over, Norwegian pop icon DAGNY returns with yet another smashing new single titled Somebody, the second single to be taken from her long-awaited debut album set to arrive later this year via Universal Music. On May 22nd the first half of the album (Side A) will come out so fans are in for a treat.
DAGNY's new single Somebody is a dancefloor-ready piece of pop music with bubbling synths and an infectious driving beat. I am a fan of DAGNY's smooth and dulcet pop vocals and how they soar effortlessly over the upbeat production. As soon as I heard that combination of bright synths and rhythm section I knew I was in for a treat and I was not disappointed. Somebody has such uplifting energy as it embodies the feeling of being so much in love with someone that you have a rush of euphoria and pure joy. If you're into infectious pieces of electro-pop music with bright synths, driving beat, gorgeous pop vocals and an overall feel-good atmosphere, then you'll love Somebody!

Speaking about the song, DAGNY said,
It's the all-consuming and exciting feeling when everything is still new. I’ve been lucky to experience it. I find that when I’m in love I feel everything ten times more than usual. With 'Somebody' for me it’s not just the lyrics but the whole vibe of the song that represents that: when I listen to it I get a lot of positive energy and I just wanna throw myself into something new and exciting.
Dagny will release her debut album in September, with Side A out May 22nd via Universal / Ingrooves.
