Cathal Murphy Shares New Single ‘Girl At Home’
Belfast-based, 20-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist Cathal Murphy has just shared his brand new single Girl At Home, a captivating piece of indie-pop music about relationships of touring musicians.

What I love the most about this song is how it allows for the lush guitar to soar and just infuse the song with a cool rock and bluesy touch! I love the guitar solo and how his smooth vocals flow effortlessly over the infectious production. Girl At Home is a relatable song about long-distance relationships and the longing to return home to someone who is waiting for you. Check it out below!




Speaking about the song, Cathal said,
I'm really pleased with how Girl At Home has turned out - it's a simple song when stripped back, a modest frame surrounding a very colourful canvas. This sound couldn't have been created without the genius of Producer, Dave Molloy of Cellar Club Studios. Dave is a dream to work with and a phenomenal guitarist. Recording Girl At Home was an extremely fun process for both of us, as guitarists and I feel like that's pretty evident in the track itself.
