alextbh Shares New Single ‘Between’

Malaysian Queer singer, songwriter and producer alextbh has just shared his brand new single Between, taken from his upcoming debut EP, The Chase, set to arrive on June 12th via EMPIRE.
I am a big fan of the young singer's smooth and soulful vocals and how they soar effortlessly over the infectious dark pop/R&B production. Between is a very sensual piece of music and it beautifully showcases Alex's slick production skills and piercing melodies. The way he is singing here is quite seductive and really makes the song stand out even more. I feel this is a great song to dance to and to play during some steamy bedroom sessions. To accompany the release, alextbh has shared its captivating lyric video which he produced and animated himself. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, alextbh said,
I wanted to see how comfortable I could be with my sexuality in my songwriting. It feels empowering to write something explicit in a physical context and I guess it’s something I should explore more often. Queer bodies are human bodies and there’s nothing wrong with trying to frame that intimate moment and showcase it.
