Bjorn Rydhog Shares New Single ‘Give Me Sunshine’
Swedish singer and songwriter Bjorn Rydhog is back with his brand new single Give Me Sunshine, the title track of his upcoming EP set to arrive on May 14th!
I am really enjoying Bjorn's smooth and distinctive vocals and how they are backed by a melodious pop production that instantly caught my attention. I am loving the guitar riffs throughout the song that are beautifully intertwined with punchy percussion and subtle piano keys, creating quite an introspective atmosphere. To accompany the release, Rydhog has unveiled a lo-fi music video which was recorded in his hometown Malmö. Check it out below!
Speaking about the EP, Bjorn said,
After five inspiring months in India a productive period of songwriting began for me back home in Malmö. The new songs were built in the style of my previous release, but with a more refined and varied sound. The process to create this EP has been an emotional awakening and also a summary of this challenging decade, where I have been looking for my “grown-up” voice.
