Baby Taylah Shares ‘Home’ Music Video
Scottish singer and songwriter Baby Taylah has just shared the official music video for her latest single Home, a song she wrote about her late mother. I am really enjoying the delicate violin strings which are beautifully intertwined with deep drumming beats, creating quite a warm atmosphere for her smooth vocals to soar. Home explores the craving one feels when wanting to be around someone that is no longer present in their everyday life.

To accompany the release, Baby Taylah shared its official music video, directed by Stuart Alexander, which was shot in Glencoe, Scotland. The big open spaces of the highlands were the perfect place to exercise the grief of her recently passed Mother, pushing the feelings of solitude and grief. Check it out below!

Speaking about the video, Baby Taylah said,
The video is really personal for me as we based the idea around the loss of my mum. We wanted to touch upon the feeling of sadness in the track by turning that into a longing for someone who isn’t coming back.

Placing it in a big open space like Glencoe really pushed the solitude and loneliness of grief, where you’re always looking for something you can’t quite find anywhere but within yourself.
