Amber Van Day Unveils Debut Single ‘Kids in the Corner’
London-based singer and songwriter Amber Van Day makes her official musical debut with the release of Kids in the Corner, a confident and defiant debut single about embracing difference and vulnerability and not adhering to labels.

I am really enjoying the anthemic atmosphere of her beautiful lyrics that are perfectly enhanced by her passionate vocal delivery and upbeat production packed with catchy electronics, cool percussion, lush piano chords and a memorable hook. I am also quite fond of the raspiness in her voice that just makes the song and its message to stand out even more. If you're into infectious pieces of pop music with lush vocals and an anthemic chorus, then you'll love Kids in the Corner. Check it out below!

Speaking on the track, Amber Van Day said:
’Kids in the Corner’ is about self-acceptance, diversity and strength in vulnerability. It’s about stripping back labels and not conforming to unrealistic expectations.

Even though it may seem that society is more connected than ever I know that the world can feel like a very lonely place and KITC is about finding the people who can help you be your most authentic self.

When myself and my cowriters created the song it felt special and important to talk about. Feeling judged and misunderstood can stop people being able to talk about issues that could otherwise bring us together.
