Benedikt Unveil New Single ‘Old Friends’

Norwegian 9-piece indie/folk-group, lead by Hans Olav Settems, have just unveiled their dreamy new single Old Friends, a mellow and nostalgic track about losing someone close.

I am really enjoying how the smooth and delicate vocal delivery infuses the song with a dreamy touch that is quite endearing and captivating. Loving the intricate acoustic guitar and banjo melodies that are beautifully intertwined with lush strings, trombones and, somewhat chaotic, electronic elements. I am also enjoying the nature sounds of birds chirping that enhance the magical and dreamy side of this nostalgic piece of music. Check it out below!

Old Friends is the second single to be lifted from their upcoming sophomore album, due to come out this Fall/Autumn.
