Indiana native singer and songwriter Lauren Sanderson has just unveiled her brand new single To The People I Hurt, the latest single to be taken from her forthcoming debut album Midwest Kids Can Make It Big.

To The People I Hurt showcases Sanderson's most vulnerable self, admitting fault and apologising to the people she has hurt. This is quite a relatable song on which Lauren sings apologetically with honest, raw emotion. I love Lauren's distinctive vocals and here we can really feel the emotion pouring effortlessly over this smooth guitar-based melody. The simple guitar plucks instantly creates a warm and intimate atmosphere that allows the emotion of her storytelling to soar and go straight to our hearts.

I've got this song on repeat and it really got me thinking about all the moments I may have hurt others and to get that courage to admit fault and apologise. Lauren has become quite a musical discovery for me this year and I am incredibly excited to share this gem with you guys. Check it out below!
