Monarchy Unveil New Single ‘Glow Vision’
CaesarLiveNLoud
Time for some groovy music! Australian synth-pop duo Monarchy, consisting of Ra Black and Andrew Armstrong, return with an awesome new single titled Glow Vision, out now via Warner.
The first single taken from their upcoming album, Glow Vision is a dance-floor ready piece of electro-pop music with a retro disco vibe that got me hooked after the very first listen. The funky guitar riffs are beautifully intertwined with the bright, shimmering synth lines, creating a feel-good atmosphere that will turn any frown upside down. I am loving the production around the vocal delivery, which enhances the song's funky and groovy touch and makes me want to get up and dance while singing along to it. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Ra Black said,
Sometimes even the fullest seemingly unshakeable love can feel fragile and turbulent. This song is note to my girlfriend to let her know that I may be a bit altered, a bit lost at the end of the spirals of my mind but even there I can see what I’ve always known, which is that we have a future and the future is bright.
Andrew Armstrong added,
I think this one really epitomises our direction for the new album. Analogue synths and disco beats. It¹s retro, but it’s also new, it has production tricks which are definitely from now, to mesh with the retro synths and beats. I use my Jupiter 6 a lot, and then this one has the Korg Minologue working as well.
