Aaron Smith Releases Heartfelt Debut EP ‘Loveless’
I fell in love with Aaron's emotive vocals and heartfelt music after the very first listen of his goose bump-inducing debut single Unspoken, a song of emotional strength that deals with the desperate desire to communicate, and I am happy to share this EP with you guys!
Not only this EP includes the masterpiece that is Unspoken but also the heartfelt In My Way, on which his lush vocals are the star of the song, perfectly flowing over a piano-based melody. This is a song that is guaranteed to give you the feels and fall in love with Aaron's gorgeous vocals.
Better Than You Loved Me is yet another intimate and heartfelt song that takes the lack of love from one relationship and turning it around. I am loving the acoustic guitar melodies and how they are perfectly intertwined with delicate piano keys, allowing the emotion of his vocals to soar effortlessly.
To wrap things up we have Better Man, a beautiful love song that flows over a haunting piano-based melody and powerful chorus!
Aaron Smith's music sounds so bucolic, so natural, that it encourages you to think of something beautiful, almost pastoral. The reality, though, is a little harsher. The songwriter's journey, his experiences of both love and trauma, fuel an incredible new EP Loveless which allows the listener to get to know Aaron on a personal level as this is a 4-track project that describes him as a person and musician.
Speaking about the EP, Aaron said,
this is loveless, my debut EP, every track is very personal to me. I’ve written a lot about things that have happened in my life in this ep and how I’ve learned to deal with them. a big thing for me in writing music is that a song can mean one thing to me but have a total different meaning to someone else.
