Otto Unveils New Single ‘Safer Out The City’
Otto, the moniker of South Wales singer-songwriter Christian Punter, has just unveiled his brand new single Safer Out The City, the second single to be taken from his 4-track debut EP, POST, out now.

I am really enjoying the intricate acoustic guitar melodies and how they perfectly back his arresting vocals that beautifully convey the emotion of the lyrics. I am loving Otto's storytelling skills and how effortless and easily they connect with the listener. Safer Out The City is a Folk-tinged piece of indie pop music on which Otto showcases his uniquely beautiful voice and songwriting skills. Along with Something She Never Knew this is one of my favourite tracks from this EP which you can stream in its entirety below!

Speaking about the EP Otto said,
My latest EP is all about where I live and the local community. I moved to Ferndale with my family at the age of eight into an old post office in the town.
It was once a sorting office for the town’s post and telegrams during WWII and a bank holding the miners’ wages. This became my inspiration for my new EP, “Post”.
Centred around my home, “The Old Post Office”, I have invited members of my community to share with me moments, memories and feelings from their lives.
Having once been the main source of communication for my town, I have re-opened the post office which has allowed me to connect on a deeper level to the people of my town and I hope to be able to share that with others.
