Miley Cyrus Premieres ‘Slide Away’ Music Video

Miley Cyrus has just premiered the official music video for Slide Away, a break-up song about people changing within a relationship and going in different directions.

The video sees Miley walking through a house following what appears to have been quite a party. We also see the singer floating in a pool wearing a slinky gold dress, surrounded by the wreckage of the wild party. I am loving this video and its melancholic atmosphere and how it looks like the dark aftermath of her 2013 hit We Can't Stop. The similarities are a lot and in the Slide Away video, we see a lot of imagery that makes us realise that the girl from the We Can't Stop video has grown past that phase in her life.
