Karen Hardy Unveils New Single ‘Nobody’
New Jersey Pop/Soul singer and songwriter Karen Hardy has just unveiled her brand new single Nobody, an infectious piece of soulful pop music.
I am loving her soulful vocals and how airy the production is, allowing her vocals to be the star and soar over the infectious melodies. There's a nostalgic touch of 90's soul/pop with a fresh, upbeat production making it perfect for the summer. Speaking about the song Karen said,
I got the idea for ‘Nobody’ after hanging with a group of people one night and once I had left, I realized that no one had asked me anything about myself the entire night. I came to the conclusion that I just wasn’t interesting or special enough to have anyone ask me any questions. This sounds super angsty and over dramatic haha but in the moment it was truly what I believed. The more I thought about it though, the more I realized that while everyone I meet might not think I’m very special, the people who really know me think I am. Thus, I’m somebody’s ‘nobody’.
