Aaron B. Thompson Unveils New Single ‘Santa Monica’
Canadian alternative singer/songwriter Aaron B. Thompson keeps gifting us with beautiful music and I've got a fresh one for you. Following the release of his breezy pop song Come Along With Me, Aaron returns with an acoustic guitar-led track titled Santa Monica, a personal song inspired by his mother and co-dependence in relationships.

Backing Aaron's smooth and delicate vocal delivery we are presented by a highly infectious production packed with lush, intricate guitar melodies that got me hooked after the very first listen. Really enjoying the punchy drums and touches of electronic guitar that give the song a captivating dose of energy. Aaron continues to create beautiful music and Santa Monica is a perfect example of his talent to deliver meaningful songs perfectly wrapped by enthralling melodies. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song Aaron said,
This song was inspired by my mom. My father is an alcoholic and she is textbook co-dependent which is really what this song is about. The way in which we compromise in relationships because we are afraid of what might happen if we leave that person. It's a heavy topic but the song has a dark surf indie folk vibe. The drums move from a more soulful groove in the verses to a more steady rock feel. This track is very vibey and I hope you dig the haunting feel.
Aaron has also shared a stripped version of this gem which you can also check out below!
