Mary Moore Unveils New EP ‘Rooted Heart’
Nashville-based, folk-pop, indie-rock artist Mary Moore has just unveiled her debut EP, Rooted Heart, a beautiful project of indie-folk music! This 4-track EP includes the previously released single Map My Body, a folk-pop track directed to a new love interest, along with 3 new gems.

I am a fan of her distinctive vocals and how gifted a storyteller she is. My favourite track off of this EP has to be Redwoods. I am loving its lush acoustic guitar melodies and its message of resilience and hope. The song has an earthy/spring touch which instantly puts me in a good mood. Reaching in the Dark has a more indie-rock approach than the other singles and is inspired from insomnia filled nights. There's somewhat of a Brandi Carlile vibe that got me hooked to the song. The driving beat highlights the anxiety in the lyrics and is definitely a relatable song. Loving the infectious chorus and the drums sound awesome here. To wrap up the EP we have a short, dreamy track titled Burn which is packed with lush ethereal-like harmonies and tons of emotion.

Produced by Collin Pastore and Jake Finch, Rooted Heart is a beautifully crafted piece of folk-tinged, indie rock music with great songwriting, pop sensibilities, infectious melodies on which her powerful and distinctive vocals soar effortlessly. Check it out below!
