Two time Billboard Award-winning violinist Lindsey Stirling is back with her brand new single The Upside, the second single to be taken from her upcoming album, Artemis, set to arrive on September 6th on BMG.
If you're a violin fan you are in for a treat. I am really enjoying Lindsey's signature violin skills and The Upside is packed with soaring violin scales combined with club drums and progressive house-leaning synthesizers, which will get you energised in no time.
This is an anthemic, upbeat single that combines elements of melodic house, electronic dance, and pop to create a feeling that is bold, high-energy, and uniquely her own. I'm not usually a fan of instrumental tracks but this one won me over after the very first listen and that violin is definitely the best element of the song. Its B-Side, Underground, is also another stunning piece of electronic music with a darker atmosphere but as epic as The Upside, and you can check both songs below! !
