Swedish music producer and multi-instrumentalist Karl Jakob has just unveiled his brand new single Song for broken hearts, the 4th single taken from his upcoming EP Pippi is dead. And we killed her.

I am a sucker for smooth, nostalgic pieces of music and this one is right up my alley. Karl's soft and soothing vocals give the song a lullaby vibe which just warms my heart after every listen, even though the lyrics deal with the matter of heartbreak.

I am really enjoying the instrumentation of the song, especially those saxophones that enhance the nostalgic atmosphere of this enchanting song. The subtle synth touches give an expansive and modern touch to what sounds like one of those magical pieces you hear in old movies.
