Vancouver based singer-songwriter pianist Dan Moxon, also known for fronting the rock band Bend Sinister, is making his solo debut with the release of his gorgeous single Where You Gonna Sleep Tonight, taken from his upcoming solo debut album.

Dan has a passion for classic rock, soul and Motown, and we can clearly hear those influences in this beautiful song. Where You Gonna Sleep Tonight is one of those songs perfect for a chilled out weekend at home alone and has that power to go straight to the heart.

I am really enjoying the tone of his vocals which are packed with so much soul and emotion, making the song to easily stand out from the rest. The sax gives the song a cool jazz/blues-y vibe and fits perfectly with the steady percussion and lush motwon-esque harmonies. Dan has managed to combine the best elements of his favourite genres into a highly addictive piece of music, oozing with soul and emotion.
