Winnie Raeder Unveils Debut Single ‘Don’t You Dare’
London-based, 23-year-old Danish singer-songwriter Winnie Raeder makes her musical debut with the captivating emotional debut single Don’t You Dare, out now via AE Records.

I am a sucker for piano-based ballads and this one is right up my alley. On Don’t You Dare, Winnie showcases her incredible voice which soars over the beautiful piano melody and is then infused with sweeping beds of harmonies and backing vocals with organic instrumentation.

Loving the raw emotion of the song that allows Winnie's vocals to give life to the beautifully crafted lyrics. It's such a heartfelt song and I am loving that dreamy, melancholic atmosphere I get while playing this song. Don’t You Dare is an impressive debut and I've got it on repeat! Check it out below!

Speaking about the song Winnie said,
It’s about someone leaving you and the denial you feel when it happens - the utter desperation you feel at not wanting to accept that person is leaving or has gone forever. For the production it was a very conscious choice to make it as simple as possible. Thinking of the story and what’s being said, the overall sense is one of numbing. When you feel numbed, it feels like everything stops. Silence. Space. I wanted to create that feeling sonically.
Winnie has just announced her first headline show at St. Pancras Old Church, London on 3rd June.
