Los Angeles-based 19-year-old singer, songwriter and dancer Mia Mormino is back with her brand new single Games, the follow up to last month's Standing Still.
If you're a regular visitor you know that I am a fan of the tone of her vocals and they sound great here. This is a song about the games sometimes people play in a relationship, creating chaos and doubt. Not only Mia showcases her lovely vocals but also her songwriting skills are on point and very relatable.

This song describes a time in my life where I felt very confused regarding the state in which my relationship (at the time) was at. I had thought that I was everything my partner wanted based off of his actions, but I could feel a big part of him holding back which made me feel crazy and lost in terms of how I was supposed to act. I knew very well he wanted me and he knew very well I wanted him, but it just didn’t workout the way I was hoping it would. But that’s just life, you can never count on anything happening for sure because everything happens for a reason.
