Jayden
Hey guys! Time for a Q&A. Italian producer Jayden is taking the world by storm with his upbeat, feel-good single This Time, featuring American singers Celine Farach and Matluck. Jayden is showing no signs of revealing his true identity, and has announced that more tracks will be dropping over the few next months.

Before he drops new music, I had the great opportunity to ask him a few questions so we could learn a bit more about the man under that Panda mask. Check it out below!

1. First of all, I’d like to say I am loving your latest single This Time. Can you tell us what was the inspiration behind it and how the collaboration with Celine and Matluck came to be?
The idea behind ‘This Time’ was to create an anthem for my panda inspired Jayden character, which would tell a story and express strong emotions. Our core message was, “This is the time to live your life and make the decisions to start appreciating it!”
Once the music was produced we found the right singers to support this new project and that took on the challenge to finish the song and music video in less than 30 days. The track really conveys the message that I wanted to portray.

2. What are your musical inspirations and how do they influence the way you make your own music?
I listen to every kind of music really and I love cinema. I believe my music is the right balance between dance music and a big movie soundtrack. The goal with my Pop inspired EDM sound is to convey a story to the audience.

3. You hide your identity by wearing a big Panda head. Why did you choose to hide your identity and what made you pick a Panda as your persona?
This all started as a joke with my friends ‘Mates’. They wanted to start a music project and I was the right medium; they’re experts in digital and video production. They’re the best artistic directors a music producer could have and we spent a long time deciding which character best suited to persona I wanted to create, this ended up being a panda! We plan to make the ‘outfit’ even more spectacular.

4. Can we expect more music from you soon?
Yes! I’m working on many songs at the moment and one of them will be out before summer so stay tuned!

5. Are you planning to tour any time soon? What can fans expect from your shows?
I don’t want to play many events, not right now at least. I’d like to have an event in Tokyo this spring because I’ve fallen in love with that city. On the 1st of June I’ll be in Milan with an event for my new song!

6. If you were given the chance to pick one artist/band to tour with which one would it be and why?
Even though the genres are totally different between each other I love music from One Republic, Imagine Dragons and Coldplay. My style is somewhat linked to these kind of groups. If we’re talking about producers, I’d choose Zedd.

7. Who would be your dream collaboration?
I’d really enjoy making crazy projects with mixed genres so maybe a collab with one of the groups I just mentioned. Of course I wouldn’t say no to a collaboration with Mike Williams, Don Diablo, or both.

8. What is the message you want to convey with your music?
There are many messages; I love orchestral music that moves your heart. Live in the moment fully and let opportunities take you to unexpected places. Through my character I want to push people to live with strong emotions they’re maybe afraid to confront.

9. What was the first album you ever bought?
I think Night Visions from Imagine Dragons. I guess that says a lot about my age ;)

10. What music are you currently listening to?
I’m experimenting with future house so right now I’m listening to a damn lot of that !

11. If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life which one would it be and why?
One of the many albums from Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Zedd and One Republic.

12. What is your favourite song of 2019 so far?
I’d say David Guetta, Brooks and Loote with Better When You’re Gone
