talker unveils debut EP "Horror Films"
Los Angeles based Grunge-pop artist talker has just unveiled her debut EP, Horror Films. I am really enjoying how this 5-track project sounds like a diary, in which every single composition delves into her emotions. There's a late 90's / early 2000's atmosphere of grunge-pop/rock that is highly infectious and got me hooked to all the songs.

All five tracks were written and co-produced by talker with the help from Dan Sadin (guitarist, FRENSHIP) and Phil Simmonds (Jessie J, Eryn Allen Kane). The whole EP is packed with lots of emotion perfectly showcasing her raw vocals. From the most ethereal-like track Changes to the high-energy, heavy-hitting grunge rock of Intimidated, the EP is a demonstration of talker's great songwriting and raw energy.

Dark, moody, intriguing and endearing, talker’s EP, Horror Films, is captivating and sincerely relevant. Inspired by alternative rock, grunge music, and indie singer-songwriters, talker maintains a guitar-based sound while infusing organic resonances and bringing in modern production elements. My favourite tracks are Collateral Damage and Intimidated and you can stream this awesome project below!
