Ghost Lab Unveil Debut Single ‘Don’t Wanna Be In Love’

Arizona-based electronic alt-pop trio Ghost Lab have just unveiled their debut single Don't Wanna Be In Love. What drew me towards this song were those smooth, lush vocals that perfectly convey the emotion behind the lyrics that deal with ups and downs of a relationship and the decision of falling out of love with someone.

Backing those soulful vocals is an infectious electronic production packed with pulsing and energetic soundscapes that add a touch of an ambient atmosphere. I'm also getting a sombre vibe from this track which makes it even better. This is quite an impressive debut. Check it out below!

Ghost Lab consists of Austin Ryan, Nick DuPlessis, and Nick Tillery. In 2018, the three friends came together planning to backpack through Europe, after each finding themselves at a crossroads. Coincidentally, the three-piece began their musical journey while preparing to venture overseas. With varying backgrounds in sound engineering, production, songwriting, and live performance, Ghost Lab is the culmination of each member's distinct creative abilities.
