French electronic trio Sense have just unveiled their brand new single First Time, taken from their latest 5-track EP, Taste, out now via Nettwerk Records.

Usually I am not that big of a fan of electronic instrumentals but this one got me hooked after the very first listen. The song is packed with glittering synths and infectious hooks. This is a melodic piece of electronic music that flows effortlessly and has an overall chillout vibe perfect for to be the soundtrack of your weekend. Stream it below!




First Time is the lead single of their Taste EP where each song was created as a way to describe one of the five tastes (Salty, Sweet, Bitter, Umami and Sour), being First Time the bitter one. Speaking about the EP the guys said,
After exploring each sense with our previous EP ‘Esper’, we wanted to land on a specific one, Taste. Each song was created with the idea to describe one of five distinct tastes (Salty, Sweet, Bitter, Umami and Sour) whether it be in the instrumentation, the lyrics or features. The inspiration of this EP came from new discoveries of territories, and genres of music as well as encounters with wonderful artists across the world.
