Will Bowes
Canadian actor, filmmaker and singer-songwriter Will Bowes has just unveiled his stunning new single Mad At The World, a powerful pop ballad.

I am LOVING his velvety and soulful vocals and how they are perfectly backed by a stunning piano-based melody. If you are a regular visitor of the blog you know that I am a sucker for piano-based tracks.

There's so much emotion in his vocals and the song shares a message of hope, encouraging us to look beyond fear in times of adversity, empowering us to speak up about the things that are important to us, even when it's uncomfortable. I have this gem on constant rotation!! Stream this masterpiece below!

Speaking about the song Will said,
I consider myself to be a pretty positive and optimistic person. I don't think I'm alone in feeling that the general state of the world has weighed heavily lately. Beyond the obvious social and political context, the recent attacks in Toronto were what really hit home and inspired me to write this song. Sometimes looking beyond fear and staying positive can feel impossible, especially in times of adversity. But it's important to forge on and not admit defeat, which is why I wanted to make sure the song also reflected that sense of optimism.

Will Bowes has been writing and performing original music since childhood. His earliest musical influencer was Neil Young, attending his concert at 6 years old. At age 11, he released his first single, September Cry, which he penned in response to the 9/11 tragedies and received a national radio campaign with interviews on CBC Radio One. He is currently the lead singer in Toronto based soul-pop band, Gold Complex, whose debut EP is on regular radio rotation on CBC and CIUT nationwide, having their music licensed along with an on-camera performance on T.V's Open Heart, currently on Netflix. Their full length studio album, New Soul, is due out this fall.

Will Bowes is also an actor, best known for his roles in House at the End of the Street, opposite Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Netflix's Alias Grace. Select television credits include Degrassi, Murdoch Mysteries, Dark Matter, Saving Hope, Rookie Blue, and Copper. He can next be seen in the feature film Clara, opposite Patrick J. Adams and Troian Bellisario, having its world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
