Speaking about the song Tim said,
It's Not Me, It's You" is a social commentary about the dating culture of kids like me in their early twenties -- about how neither side is willing to claim they've caught feelings for the other after purely physical shenanigans. I plan to release a duet version in the near future, so the idea of mutual unwillingness will be better represented.
