Californian indie-pop duo White Oaks - comprised of Jake Messig and Austin Harms - have just unveiled their debut single silver + gold. The song has a playful vibe to it with a groovy, somewhat effortless and addictive melody. Really enjoying the bass drop and synth works. Jake Messig and Austin Harms met in the Los Angeles area to pursue their music careers. After graduating from university, they started writing day and night collaborating with different creatives while experimenting with countless sounds and various genres. After writing and producing an abundance of striking songs, Jake and Austin realized their collaborations were effortless, which led them to create White Oak. Their music is derived from influences like the notable John Mayer, Local Natives and Sylvan Esso, along with up and coming Vasser and Dwilly.
