XL Unveils New Single "You Oughta Know"

Maryland-based singer/MC XL has just unveiled his smooth new single You Oughta Know, the first single to be lifted from his upcoming debut EP, Boo-Yow, set to arrive later this Summer. The song features Juju who also produced it.

I was immediately drawn to the smoothness of his rhymes and the production sounds very polished and gives a laidback vibe that I'm loving! The song explores the idea of what transparency means to our relationships, good and bad.

XL's upcoming EP, Boo Yow, was made on house arrest and on it XL reminisces about past experiences in life and love. He has been singing and rapping since early school days but the unexpected house arrest bid forced him to explore his passion for music full time.
