Demi Lovato Opens Up About Relapse With New Single "Sober"

Demi Lovato has just released a very personal new single titled Sober. This song comes out weeks after she celebrated 6 years of sobriety, but it seems she had a heartbreaking setback as she admits to having a relapse.

The song is very personal and you can feel her pain as she sings about being sorry for not being sober anymore, for falling again. She even apologises to fans by singing,

I'm sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again. I want to be a role model but I'm only human.

This is a heartfelt apology and you can feel her pain and how she regrets relapsing. Watch the lyric video below!


We're not sure what was the nature of her relapse but she has always been open about her mental health and struggling with substance abuse. At least she is pouring her heart out here and it's her way of getting back on her feet and return to sobriety!
