Leandro Premieres New Single "Stay"

Johannesburg-based singer/songwriter Leandro has just unveiled the official music video for his new single Stay and it quite a powerful video. It was directed by Suhail Alli and it deals with the feeling of loss of a loved one. A beautiful, and sad, video for a stunning song. Watch it below!

Musically the song is right up my alley. I am a sucker for piano-based melodies and this song has a perfect, melancholic and moving piano melody. Overall this is a super infectious pop ballad, with a catchy hook, and haunting vocals that convey the emotion of the lyrics perfectly.

Leandro has said that this is his most honest work to date and I just want to thank him for creating such a heartfelt song. Oh, and the icing on the cake is that he has portuguese blood which makes me even more happy to share the song. Guess that portuguese blood came in handy to deliver such a moving song.
