The Ninth Wave
Today, The Ninth Wave release Swallow Me, the second single from their forthcoming EP Never Crave Attention, set to come out on April 20th on Distiller Records. I'm in love with the dark side and 80s vibe of this track, and don't get me started on that guitar riff! Loving it!!

On Swallow Me, The Ninth Wave continue to delve into the darker side of human nature, exploring the dynamics of a manipulative relationship. With its sharp ’80s synths and frenetic, genre-shattering guitar riff, the track is perhaps the band’s darkest offering yet, reminiscent of The Cult, Interpol and Talking Heads. Stream this gem below!

Speaking about the track, the band say:
‘Swallow Me’ is about being used and is based around an observation of a dysfunctional relationship and the damage caused. For the victim, the realisation of the situation they are in is hard to swallow.
The Ninth Wave’s debut EP Reformation was released late last year and has already garnered huge acclaim for the Scottish upstarts, with the likes of BBC Radio 1, 6 Music and Radio X all championing the band. Through their collaborations with radical fashion designer Charles Jeffrey and alt-rock trio Demob Happy, the band have displayed a ravenous hunger to push the envelope and create a unique, all-encompassing experience.
