Bad Gyal takes Jamaica by storm in the video for ‘Candela’
Filmed while Bad Gyal was visiting Jamaica for 10 days earlier this year, Candela’s visuals celebrate Jamaica – finding her dancing with renowned dancehall performers and relaxing with locals. Each scene is designed to enrich visually as the track does audibly, thanks to production from CANADA – who were also responsible for her Jacaranda and Blink videos - and direction from Manson.
Teaming up with Jacaranda producer Dubbel Dutch once again for Candela, the song embodies the laid back calm of a sun-drenched summer evening; producing a pulsing mid-tempo take on reggaeton, complete with a groove-laden guitar loop, full-bodied percussion and an infectious vocal line.
