Brooke Bentham & Kerala Dust share a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘The Chain’
South London electronic producer Kerala Dust has teamed up with Brooke Bentham for a beautiful reworking of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain

This is a stunning atmospheric rework of the track and you can stream it below!

Speaking about the single Kerala Dust said:
Brooke and I sat down in my old basement bedroom-studio in New Cross late last autumn to spontaneously work on some music together. We bonded over our love for 70s rock and blues, and felt that it could be interesting to re-work one of our favourites from that period. ‘The Chain’ seemed an obvious choice, and our aim was to create something that seemed like a dystopian mirror’s image of the original; an ethereal snapshot of the past through the lens of today’s fragmented, distended realities. The song was finished in less than two days, and we’re rather proud of the result.
Brooke added,
Ed & I were at university when he asked me if I wanted to collaborate on a Fleetwood Mac track. So I took to his basement studio and we recorded vocals for ‘The Chain’. He asked me to do a few different styles, which is why I sound like I'm almost whispering for a lot of the song. I really love Ed's work and so it was a pleasure to be able to sing with him.
Brooke has been confirmed to play the BBC Introducing show at The Lexington on March 1st.
