Jade Bird shared today the second live video from her brand new EP, this time for What Am I Here For.

Following in the footsteps of the recently shared live video for Cathedral, the new video carries on Jade Bird story perfectly.  What Am I Here For is a fragile and tender call for someone who you can trust and find your place in the world alongside. Jade’s extraordinarily accomplished debut EP –Something American - has been receiving critical acclaim of the highest order all around the globe. Across the 5 tracks, her voice has arrived like a total breath of fresh air in the current musical landscape - putting her own positive, refreshing spin on a richly complex personal and musical heritage.

Produced by Simone Felice (The Lumineers, Bat For Lashes etc), the EP was recorded at Clubhouse Studio in Rhinebeck, NY and features Matt Johnson (Jeff Buckley, St Vincent) on drums, Will Rees  (Mystery Jets) on guitar and Sara Lee (B-52’s) on bass.

Jade will headline London’s Omeara on October 17th.
