Dirty Heads Release Hilarious "Vacation" Video
Just in time for the summer break, huge U.S band Dirty Heads return with the official video for their brand new single Vacation via Five Seven Music. This release comes ahead of their hotly anticipated forthcoming sixth studio album.
Co-directed by Wayne Isham and Ryan Ewing, the video is a tongue-in-cheek throwback masterpiece, following well-loved comedic actor Dennis Haskins (famously known for his role as legendary Principle Richard Belding in hit US TV sitcom Saved By The Bell) around his empty school, euphorically capturing the universal schools out summer feeling. Haskins says

I love the music business from when I was in it in the 70's as an agent and manager to today's new music and hot acts! And to get to be in this video for Dirty Heads is a true gift! #musicmovesme.
This song is pure gold. After a few listens I got completely hooked to it! Definitely going to be a must song for any vacation playlist out there! Hehe. Produced by frequent collaborator Jonas Jeberg (Demi Lovato, Juicy J, Nicki Minaj), Vacation sways from bright sun-soaked piano and booming horns into an unshakable chorus, Hey, I'm on vacation every single day cuz I love my occupation. Coming as a much-needed shot of positivity, co-lead vocalist Jared Dirty J Watson comments,
I want Vacation to speak to people out there who have paid their dues and love their jobs. For those who dont enjoy what they do every day, it sends a message that its not too late to do something else. If youre not happy, life is way too f**king short to hang around doing something you dont love. Were blessed to do something were passionate about. We hope you feel the same!
Written and recorded between Los Angeles and their hometown of Orange County with a handful of close collaborators, the new track sees Dirty Heads at their most focused, fiery, and free.
It follows Dirty Heads self-titled fifth studio album, released last year. Lead single That's All I Need and follow-up single Oxygen gained the band momentum in the UK picking up coverage and support from tastemaker press from Wonderland Magazine to Spindle Magazine and a coveted video spot on Sunday Brunch.
With their sixth studio album due for release later this year, the band are primed for a watershed year as they bring their infectious genre-infused sound to 2017.
