The Hallows Premiere "Angel" Music Video
English alternative pop band, The Hallows, have premiered the official music video for their brand new single, Angel, set to come out on August 26th, alongside their much anticipated debut album, Of Time and Tides. Loving this video! Check it out below!

Angel is a good representation of their atmospheric pop music with dreamy melodies and meaningful lyrics. The vision of The Hallows is to ‘create punchy, atmospheric pop with a big sound’. It’s intelligent, grown-up pop, with erudite lyrics, dreamy melodies, and vocals that are reminiscent of a bit of Kate Bush here, a bit of Tori Amos there. And in this age of over-production and showing off, it’s a sound we’ve been craving - and one that delivers an infectious idiosyncrasy all of its own.

Unsurprisingly, The Hallows’ musical influences are all the right names. From Motown through to Beethoven via your harder rock, they include Nina Simone, Jeff Buckley and Fleetwood Mac (Sarah), Queen, Radiohead and The Police (Joe), and over in Dave’s corner we have The Beatles, Queens Of The Stoneage and Rage Against The Machine.

The Hallows went into Riverside Studios in Bath to put down the debut album, Of Time and Tides, alongside producer Seb Pecchia (Robert Plant’s Mighty Rearranger). Mastered by Andy ‘Hippy’ Baldwin at Metropolis Studios, London, the album will arrive on August 26th with a tour slated for that month as well.
