Cable Street Collective Unveil New Single "Americana"
London-based Cable Street Collective have gone through a new line-up change with the addition of DJ and producer Dan Cat (formerly of acclaimed house duo Cheshire Catz), Aaron Brown and Sam McEvoy. Dan provides pumping club-inspired rhythms which are now the backbone of their new sound. His beats are bolstered by the addition of Sam McEvoy on percussion. The new rhythm section is rounded out by the addition of bassist Aaron Gregory Brown, son of the legendary afrobeat bassist Greg Kofi Brown (of Osibisa fame). Their music mixes African-influenced guitars with dance music beats to create upbeat, festival-friendly tunes. Below you can check them performing a new song Americana, live at Hoxton Docks.
