Major Lazer's 'Lean On' reworked by Brooklyn's Wakey Wakey

Brooklyn-based artist Michael Grubbs, aka Wakey Wakey, has reworked Major Lazer’s huge international hit Lean On ft Violinist Amanda Lo. This is such a breathtaking cover guys! Very emotional with a folk vibe to it. Loving his warm vocals, the acoustic guitar chords, piano keys and that violin! Wow! This song is taken from his Covers Episode One EP, a series of cover recordings to come featuring other of his favourite tracks: Phantogram’s 2016 track ‘You Don’t Get me High Anymore’ and the Irving Berlin classic ‘I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm’.

Wakey Wakey first came onto the scene in 2010 with his debut Almost Everything I Wish I’d Said The Last Time I Saw You, which secured him high profile TV placements, and great support from mainstream press.
