Dirty Heads Plan To Go Global
Alternative band Dirty Heads are getting ready to take over the world. Having recently finished a mammoth North American tour the guys are now set to bring their infectious Californian rock/hip-hop/reggae/pop fused sound to the rest of the world.

Having already sold out a headline show in London and the video for ‘That'’s All I Needbeing shown on Sunday Brunch a couple of weeks back things are certainly heading in the right direction. Jared Watson says,
“It’'s crazy to think about the journey we’'ve been on so far and it’s so cool we finally get to show the UK what Dirty Heads are all about!”

I adore this single and its feel-good vibe. It was produced by Justin Gray (Mariah Carey, Joss Stone), and Dirty Heads’ Duddy (vocals/guitar) says: “
That'’s All I Need’ just has a good feel to it, kind of hanging out with your friends in the neighborhood on a Sunday in the summer back when you were growing up. Everyone's got that good memory, so that's where we started aiming for. Let's make this feel-good summer song that people can put on in the backyard with their friends and family.”

The 5-piece band formed in 2003 in Huntington Beach, California and are; Jared Watson (vocals), Dustin ‘Duddy B’ Bushnell (vocals/guitar), Jon Olazabal (percussion), Matt Ochoa (drums) and David Foral (bass). The band’s prior releases set the groundwork with their debut album ‘Any Port In A Storm’ in September 2008, featuring the RIAA certified gold track ‘Lay Me Down’, which spent 11 weeks at #1 on the Billboard alternative chart, more than any single that year, by any other artist. Dirty Head’s most recent release ‘Sound Of Change’ debuted at #8 in the Billboard Top 200 chart and its first single, ‘My Sweet Summer’, was a #3 hit at alternative radio. They are due to hit the road again in the US this Autumn and along with this, the band have developed an impressive social following with nearly half a million Facebook likes.
