Tom Bem Unveils New Single 'Hide & Seek'
South East London's artist and producer Tom Bem has unveiled his new single, Hide & Seek. This is the first single taken from his new EP, Beast Side, set to arrive on August 5th! Of Hide & Seek he says:
Hide and Seek outlines the struggle of trying to understand why a new love interest can be interested one minute and not interested the next. Its metaphorically likened to the playground game ‘hide and seek’.
Beast Side is a significant portrayal of his artistic development since his previous work. It continues his unique sense of intense, emotive vulnerability, whilst having clearly evolved his production style. Beast Side is a collection of songs, depicting the battle within himself in containing his emotions during turbulent times – his Beast Side. Tom says:
It focuses on the battle within myself; between fearing my dark side and letting it control me.
Tom has written with and produced for an array of artists that span from double Ivor-Novello award winner Christ Difford (Squeeze) and Boy George (Culture Club) to Bastille.
