French-based collective Temenik Electric, who will be bringing their explosive clash of Arabic and rock cultures to the UK when they play Rich Mix on April 9th! Following this performance the collective has a showcase confirmed at Liverpool Sound City on May 29th!
The forward-thinking five-piece recently released their sophomore album, Inch'Allah Baby, on which we find a crossing of two worlds and two influences. A fusion of deep bass, tribal rhythms and catchy riffs is encrusted with electro trance and futuristic pop. The ten tracks tilt between the mystical fatalism of the Maghrebi people and the classy hedonism of Anglo-Saxon rock. One of the songs from the album is the latest single Denia, Denia, which you can listen to below!

Having already commanded international stages and fans in France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark and as far fetching as Morocco, Temenik Electric are currently on tour across Europe, taking in the likes of De Centrale in Gent and international music forum Babel Med in Marseille, where they just picked up two prizes - the Adami and the Transatlantic. The latter will see the group continue to prove their global appeal with a performance at Mundial Montreal in Canada in November 2016.
