Editors Return With New Single 'Forgiveness'
Editors return with a stunning new dark-pop single called Forgiveness, which amply demonstrates that desire to ignore genres by
mixing a loose dancefloor beat with spiraling melodies and a highly
politicized lyric.
The band's frontman Tom Smith says of the track:
’Forgiveness’ is the only song on the record that’s led by a guitar. It’s quite dark lyrically, it is pretty bleak. ‘Forgiveness makes fools of all of us’… in a pop song that’s quite a dark thing to say.
I am absolutely in love with this song. Super infectious guys! It will be out on May 20th and is taken from their 2015 album, In Dream.
